Kleinfelder's Oklahoma City, OK office is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities- Perform routine to complex testing of construction materials in the field to verify suitability and conformance to industry and construction specifications.
- Provide design parameters for our Geotechnical Engineering teams.
- Follow proper procedures and maintain accurate data sheets and basic calculations for reporting purposes.
- Perform accurate computations using basic to intermediate math including some algebra.
- Maintain cordial relationships with co-workers, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Work with a team in a challenging, fun, and fast-paced environment toward a common goal.
- Demonstrate a dynamic work style with multi-tasking and the ability to quickly shift focus between tasks when needed.
- Travel may be required from time to time; ability to work nights and weekends when necessary to support client deadlines.
- 1-5 years of construction materials testing experience.
- Basic to intermediate computer skills with MS Word, MS Excel & MS Outlook.
- Basic to intermediate math skills.
- Ability to read and understand a test procedure.
- ACI Strength Testing Technician
- ODOT Materials Sampling Technician
- Nuclear Gauge / Troxler / Radiation Safety
High school diploma or equivalent required.
