KFOR-TV, Oklahoma’s News 4, is looking for a strong, dynamic, experienced News Anchor to join our award-winning team. For 76 years, Channel 4 has been building a legacy of trust with the community. We provide more hours of news and weather than any other television station in our state and we do it in a way unlike the competition. Our impactful reporting has helped change laws, assisted in the exoneration of the wrongly accused and served as a beacon for those who still believe in serious Journalism.

- Presents content for broadcast, digital and CTV in an engaging and professional manner
- Compelling storyteller
- Writes and presents news stories clearly and concisely
- Assists in writing, copy editing, researching, and coordinating news programming and other content
- Responds urgently to breaking news and other time-sensitive newsrooms situations
- Participates in promotional activities including public appearances
- Performs special projects and other duties as assigned
- Writes content for the website and other digital platforms
- Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to communicate (written and oral), across all platforms and to ad lib when required
- Superior on-air presence
- Excellent news judgment with an expansive knowledge of current events, history, news makers and issues
- Experience guiding, directing and motivating others
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Flexibility to work varied shifts.
