Job Description GI/Liver Pathologist with General Surgical Sign-Out Oklahoma, OK
Ameri Path in conjunction with Diagnostics Pathology Services, Inc. is seeking a hospital-based GI/Liver Pathologist to sit in the Oklahoma City, OK area.
ResponsibilitiesCase work will include liver, pancreas, transplant, routine GI, and AP/CP general surgical sign-out and frozen sections. The selected individual will work in a tertiary care hospital as part of a team of 6 pathologists and a broader team of 10 pathologists. Willingness to pick up hospital-based medical directorship for a small hospital is ideal.
Qualifications- MD or DO degree plus accredited pathology AP/CP residency/fellowship
- GI/Surgical pathology fellowship preferred
- Must be board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state Oklahoma or eligible to obtain licensure
- Must hold active privileges in a facility where any inpatient work is interpreted
