Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting a General Otolaryngology (ENT) Physician to provide onsite services to eligible beneficiaries of the Oklahoma City VA Health Care System located at 921 NE 13th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73104. Shift scheduling is generally Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:30pm with call. Full-time and Locum Tenens positions with generous compensation packages are available.

Responsibilities

• Shall provide general Otolaryngology services in Otologyincluding but not limited to, ear, hearing, and balance.
• Shall provide comprehensive clinical otolaryngology services including the full range of ENT surgical procedures.
• Shall be present in the operating suite for all otolaryngology procedures.
• Rounds shall be conducted on postoperative ENT patients in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) and on the wards.
• All cases will be discussed in morbidity and mortality of conferences, and will provide appropriate information to the COR for inclusion in departmental reports.
• Shall provide consultative services at the patient's bedside if the patient is not ambulatory and in the clinic setting if the patient is able to report to the outpatient clinic.
• Shall provide discharge education and follow up instructions that are coordinated with the next care setting for all Otolaryngology clinical or surgical patients.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Otolaryngologist.
• Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia
• NPI report printout
• Active DEA license
• Fellowship trained preferred, but not required
• Must be able to pass a federal background investigation

All candidates must be able to:

• Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
• Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
• Lift up to 20 lbs
• Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
• Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
