Responsibilities

• Shall provide general Otolaryngology services including but not limited to; sleep medicine and rhinology/sinus surgeries to include sleep disorders, sleep apnea surgery, sleep investigations, sinusitis, sinus surgery, apnea, and snoring
• Shall provide comprehensive clinical otolaryngology services including the full range of ENT surgical procedures
• Shall be present in the operating suite for all otolaryngology procedures
• Rounds shall be conducted on postoperative ENT patients in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) and on the wards
• All cases will be discussed in morbidity and mortality of conferences, and will provide appropriate information to the COR for inclusion in departmental reports
• Shall provide consultative services at the patient's bedside if the patient is not ambulatory and in the clinic setting if the patient is able to report to the outpatient clinic
• Shall provide discharge education and follow up instructions that are coordinated with the next care setting for all Otolaryngology clinical or surgical patients

• Board Certified in Otolaryngologist
• Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia
• NPI report printout
• Active DEA license
• Fellowship trained preferred, but not required
• Must be able to pass a federal background investigation

• Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
• Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
• Lift up to 20 lbs
• Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
• Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
