Job Description

The University of Oklahoma Health Campus, located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is one of only four comprehensive academic health centers in the nation with seven colleges:
Allied Health, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Medicine, Public Health, Nursing, and Graduate. The University of Oklahoma is the leading educator of future health care professionals in the State of Oklahoma. An enrollment of 3,900, the OU Health academic program students are located on three campuses (Oklahoma City, Norman and Tulsa) as well as six additional locations (Ardmore, Bartlesville, Duncan, Norman, Lawton, and Weatherford).

For Fall 2025, the OU Health academic program enrollment is comprised of professional (59%), undergraduate (31%), graduate (9%) and non‑degree/inter‑campus (1%) students. The student community is comprised of 100+ different institutions with a hope and a commitment to research, caring, and healing.

As a department within the Senior Vice President and Provost Office, the OU Recruitment & Admissions team provides support services for prospective and current students, alumni, and University partners. This position will directly support all centralized recruitment communication efforts. With a committed goal to increase enrollment and ensure the best educational experience for tomorrow's helpers, the University of Oklahoma is an exciting and dynamic place to serve, grow, and share in the University's life‑changing mission.

Duties
  • In collaboration with OU Marketing & Communications, manage social media accounts for OU Recruitment & Admissions including content calendar planning, content creation, and utilizing platforms for up‑to‑date and real‑time posting.
  • Partner with university partners to update and maintain the OU Recruitment & Admissions webpage portfolio. Understanding the audience of the webpages while utilizing innovation and creativity to connect with prospective students online.
  • Design, produce, and maintain various documents and publications for OU Recruitment & Admissions including, but not limited to, Pathways, Degree Sheets, and other internal and external marketing materials.
  • Design marketing materials for prospective student recruitment events, social media content, etc., bring creativity to each project.
  • Support the seven academic colleges in refreshing marketing materials, maintaining a unified brand across the OU Health Campus, OU‑Tulsa Campus, and six additional sites.
  • Work with the OU Recruitment & Admissions team to communicate routinely through email, calls, in‑person visits, and events with prospective students, families, high school counselors, and other key stakeholders across campus, the State of Oklahoma, and regional area.
  • Fully utilize and attain the proper training for the use of the institution's CRM to communicate and proactively outreach to prospective students, support systems, and college academic counselors. This includes management of prospect contacts, creative messaging to students, etc.
  • With use of the CRM, build reports and queries to track the progress and return on investment in designated territories.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required
:
To be considered for this position, you must attach two to three examples of your work showing your graphic design ability and writing style.

Required Education

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field, AND 24 months experience in marketing, public relations, or communications.

Equivalency Substitution
:
Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 72 months of related experience.
