Learning & Development Specialist – Express Employment International

Express Employment International is seeking a Learning and Development Professional to drive the success of franchise partners nationwide. The role will deliver full‑time training in both in‑person and virtual formats, conduct needs assessments, design engaging content based on adult learning principles, and evaluate training effectiveness for continuous improvement.

Location:

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (expected onsite 80% of the time).
Salary: $75,000 – $95,000.

Responsibilities
  • Lead in‑person and virtual training classes on recruiting, interviewing, product knowledge, sales, technology, business management, and leadership.
  • Facilitate experiential learning activities to achieve defined learning objectives.
  • Conduct additional training classes via webinars and field visits.
  • Train at corporate‑sponsored events and conferences.
  • Conduct individual training and coaching sessions as needed.
  • Collaborate with teams/departments to develop training supporting strategic sales initiatives.
  • Work with subject matter experts to plan, design, and develop content.
  • Develop compelling class content that achieves objectives using adult learning methodologies.
  • Design experiential learning exercises for individual, small‑group, and large‑group settings.
  • Identify stages in learning and recommend mentoring, coaching, or training to promote development.
  • Use a variety of assessment methods before, during, and after training to measure impact.
  • Coach and generate positive sales results with franchisees to meet revenue goals.
  • Travel to field offices up to 25% of the time.
  • Pursue professional development through webinars, conferences, and industry publications.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (preferred).
  • 5+ years of training experience and staffing industry experience (required).
  • Proven ability to design and develop class content.
  • Experience delivering live training in‑person and virtually for both small and large groups.
  • Passion for helping others achieve new levels of understanding.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and willingness to work flexible hours.
