Adult Health/Medical-Surgical Clinical Faculty (Part-Time)
Chamberlain College of Nursing needs a qualified part‑time Clinical Faculty to support our Bachelor of Science in Nursing program in Oklahoma.
Opportunity at a Glance- College of Nursing:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program in Oklahoma - Clinical teaching in partnership with local health systems
- Typical rotation: 12‑hour shifts (7 a.m.‑7 p.m.) for 3–4 consecutive days
- Compensation: $1,120 – $7,245 per assignment (adjusted for experience, licensure, and course taught)
- Implement the College’s philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service.
- Teach onsite in a clinical setting with one of our partners; schedule: 12‑hour shifts for 3–4 consecutive days.
- Assume responsibility for all autonomous aspects of individual teaching assignments.
- Plan clinical experiences for and provide direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students.
- Evaluate and provide documented feedback to students on performance based on course objectives.
- Remediate students as needed.
- Maintain current knowledge related to agency/clinical policies, procedures, and expectations.
- Develop and post written clinical assignments consistent with student knowledge base, skill competency, and learning needs.
- Grade homework, quizzes, tests, lab assignments, clinical paperwork, and other written work in a timely manner.
- May teach didactic content under supervision of course coordinator.
- Keep course coordinator informed of all student and agency issues and concerns.
- Report to the dean or assistant dean; a course coordinator will also provide direct oversight.
- A master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution.
- An unencumbered professional nursing license in the state of Oklahoma.
- At least two years of professional experience within the last five years in registered nursing instruction.
- Teaching or precepting experience is preferred but not required.
- Genuine passion for nursing, education, and lifelong learning.
- Exceptional subject matter expertise with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Eager to serve students and colleagues with passion, respect, and care.
- Responsibility and purpose with a desire to enrich students, colleagues, and the broader community.
