Role DescriptionThis is a contract role for a Title Landman at Rock Creek Land & Energy, LLC. As an Oklahoma Title Landman, you will be responsible for performing title research and analysis, examining and interpreting county records and legal documents, and providing accurate reports and recommendations to support land acquisition and development activities. This is a hybrid role located in Oklahoma City, OK, with mostly remote work from your home office or out in the field, depending on the company's needs.
Qualifications- Local to Oklahoma
- 5+ years of Oklahoma title experience with strong expertise in HBP, multiple severances, APO/BPO issues, difficult NRI calculations, and multiple units lying within a section
- Must be willing to travel daily within Oklahoma and able to work from the field or off of images
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced in taking runsheet notes and chaining within Excel
- Must be proficient in researching oil and gas wells, production, OCC applications and orders and their effect on title.
- Bachelor’s degree or otherwise relevant experience
- Must be open to feedback and comfortable working in a team environment
