Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Level 2 Field Service Engineer to join our growing team. This role requires a seasoned professional with at least 5 years of hands‑on experience servicing medical imaging equipment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining diagnostic imaging systems—including but not limited to X‑ray, mammography, CT, and MRI—and capable of working independently in healthcare environments.

What

You’ll Do
  • Perform inspections, calibrations, installations, upgrades, and repairs on a range of radiology imaging equipment (X‑ray, Mammo, CT, MRI)
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues with minimal supervision
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure compliance with performance and safety standards
  • Collaborate with OEM technical support and healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding service
  • Maintain detailed service records and documentation for compliance and reporting
  • Provide equipment demonstrations and in‑service training for healthcare staff when needed
What You’ll Need (Requirements)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in servicing diagnostic imaging equipment required
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field—or equivalent military/technical experience
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair imaging systems independently
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and computer skills; adept with test equipment and diagnostic software
  • Familiarity with OEM service documentation, safety regulations, and industry standards
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Dependable, flexible, and able to manage travel schedules (including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed)
