Job Title:
Electrophysics Engineer/Scientist
Location:
Oklahoma City, OK, San Antonio, TX, Titusville, FL Salary Range: $64 to $75/hr - Competitive Salary Introduction We are seeking highly skilled and experienced professionals to join our Electromagnetic Effects Group. Skills & Qualifications
* Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, engineering physics, or physics
* Familiarity with electromagnetic concepts such as RF isolation, shielding, grounding, and filtering.
* Familiarity in the defense or aerospace industry
* Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance.
* Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time as required.
* Experience with EMI qualification testing for aircraft LRU's, including reviewing procedures and test reports
* Previous experience of MIL-STD-461/464 and/or DO-160 EMI/EMC. Preferred
Skills & Qualifications
* ABET accredited Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a Master's/PhD in electrical engineering
* Prior experience with Aerospace Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Perform trade studies, modeling, simulation, and other analyses to optimize design for E3 performance
* Work to achieve Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of electronics, wiring, and structure
* Interface with manufacturing and coordinate with suppliers to assure system-level compatibility
* Support project management by coordinating development of work statements, budgets, and schedules Company Benefits & Culture
