As part of our Water Business Group, you’ll help shape how communities manage water for generations to come. Your contributions will directly support public health, environmental sustainability, and infrastructure resilience.
Responsibilities- Support planning level, preliminary, and detailed designs of water/wastewater and stormwater pump facilities under instruction from the Project Engineer.
- Support condition assessments and rehabilitation planning for existing pump station infrastructure.
- Prepare plans for water and wastewater systems and write specifications, analysis, and study-level reports for treatment, distribution, and collection systems, selecting appropriate design methods and equipment sizing.
- Participate in a quality assurance team and conduct quality control reviews of completed deliverables.
- Perform field investigations, site visits, and construction observation to ensure compliance with design documents.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
- Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related field).
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate or ability to obtain.
- Experience in water/wastewater/water resources projects, with a focus on treatment, pump stations, pipelines, or stormwater.
- Local candidates are preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
- Interest or experience designing water/wastewater treatment facilities.
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Micro Station.
- Microsoft Office experience.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
