We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Civil Structural Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to apply their expertise across a diverse portfolio of projects, including heavy and municipal transportation, bridges, and water/wastewater systems. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader, a collaborative team player, and an effective communicator.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of civil and structural engineering projects from conceptualization through to construction and completion.
• Develop detailed engineering designs, plans, specifications, and reports for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and investigations to inform design decisions and identify potential project challenges.
• Utilize advanced engineering software and tools (e.g., Civil 3D, CAD, BIM) to create detailed models and calculations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineers, to ensure integrated and seamless project delivery.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating project updates, technical information, and design solutions.
• Oversee and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and team members.
• Perform on-site inspections and construction oversight to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
• Contribute to business development efforts, including the preparation of proposals and participation in client meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• Current and valid Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in civil and/or structural engineering.
• Proven experience in at least one of the following areas: heavy transportation (highways), municipal transportation, bridge design, or municipal water/wastewater projects.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering design software (e.g., Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Micro Station).
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and building codes.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commitment to quality and safety.
