Responsibilities- Field Operations entail executing tasks and assignments away from the office, overseeing the work of colleagues or contractors, and performing environmental duties to meet project requirements.
- Deliver tasks in the form of Field Work Orders and work with senior staff for direction and training.
- Work in a team setting with a more senior technician, specialist, or project manager; independently complete tasks as assigned for field work orders.
- Groundwater monitoring and disposal tasks as part of field activities.
- Maintain vehicle fleet and calibrate/operate field instruments.
- Read and understand Field Work Orders; communicate with project managers; collect information and data per OES protocols; report unusual or inconsistent observations to project managers.
- Ask questions when unsure and perform other duties as assigned.
- Participate in team planning, status meetings, safety training, and team functions as applicable.
- Represent the company positively to clients; direct client queries to project managers as advised.
- Direct regulatory queries to project managers as advised.
- Maintain licenses and CEUs; advise supervisor of training needs.
- Entry level; 0 to 1+ years field experience preferred.
- Willingness to participate, positive attitude, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to complete tasks under supervision of an experienced field technician.
