The Alternate Lead Avionics Technician will assist the Lead Avionics Technician for all functions assigned to provide airworthiness of the aircraft upon completion of maintenance at the facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Establish work priorities to assist the lead. Insure work performed adheres to high quality standards.
- Ensure all equipment if properly used and adequate safeguards are in place to protect aircraft and equipment.

Qualifications:
PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Over 2 years aviation avionics experience
- FAA Airframe certification or hold a Repairman Certificate, and FCC Certificate, or a Radio Repairman Operator Certificate.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations including 14 CFR
- Proven leadership abilities, such as taking personal responsibility, superb attendance, completing work in a timely manner, and performing tasks accurately.
- Takes initiative, such as, plans work and carries out tasks without detailed instructions. Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
- Time management skills, such as, the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, a problem-solver, and effectively dealing with tight deadlines and work pressure/stress.
- Fluent in English (speech, reading, writing)
- Powerplant license (A&P)
- Valid Driver’s License
