Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will lead the development of diverse structural projects, ensuring every calculation and specification meets the highest standards of safety and efficiency. You will be a key contributor from the initial design phase through construction support.
Structural Design: Develop designs for bridges, retaining walls, dams, and storm/traffic structures.
Analysis & Inspection: Perform detailed engineering calculations, load ratings, structural inspections, and rehabilitation plans.
Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports, technical specifications, and construction-ready documents for regulatory approval.
Construction Support: Assist with construction engineering services to ensure field implementation aligns with design intent.
Quality Control: Maintain meticulous design records and ensure compliance with state and federal transportation standards.
Candidate RequirementsThe ideal candidate is a structural expert who is proficient with industry-standard software and thrives in a collaborative, in-office environment. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their projects and delivers excellence to every client.
Licensure: Valid and active State of Oklahoma Professional Engineer (PE) license (Reciprocity from other states is welcome). An SE license would be a plus.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
Experience: 5+ years of dedicated design experience focusing on transportation and bridge projects.
Software Proficiency: Mastery of Bentley products (Open Bridge/Micro Station),
Civil 3D
, and MS Office.
Soft Skills: A proven record of delivering superior project management and high-level client service.
