Our objective is to provide clients with a unique business perspective on how to transform the finance function, reducing cost base, increasing efficiency and quality of information, and improving decision‑making through finance operating model design, business performance management and reporting, shared services design and implementation, finance process improvement, finance system implementation and outsourcing consulting.
The OpportunityAs part of our Finance Transformation team, you will gain Oil and Gas experience working with senior leadership teams in domestic and large multinational companies.
You will combine your finance capability with program and change‑management expertise to implement and embed improvements and deliver sustainable value.
YourKey Responsibilities
- Support the strategy and delivery of client engagements, interacting at an executive level, as well as engaging in sales and practice‑development activities.
- Help develop high‑performing people and teams, supporting them to make an impact that matters and setting the direction to deliver exceptional client service.
- Sell, deliver and manage finance transformation projects in areas such as finance strategy development, finance operating model design, finance process improvement, shared services and global business services design and implementation, outsourcing consulting (including managed services), financial planning and analysis (FP&A), finance systems and applications (e.g., SAP, Blackline), process mining, robotics, and intelligent automation, financial close, consolidation and reporting, cost management and profitability analysis, and hydrocarbon accounting (Order‑to‑cash, procure‑to‑pay and record‑to‑report processes).
- Coaching and mentoring, and performance appraisal.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially around breaking down complex structures into digestible and relevant points for a diverse set of clients and colleagues, at all levels.
- Ability to sell and lead consulting engagements that solve complex issues, provide innovative commercial insights for clients, adapt methods and practices to fit operational team and cultural needs, and contribute to thought leadership.
- Successful management of engagement time and budgets, consistently driving projects to completion, managing risk, and ensuring high‑quality work.
- Influential leadership that creates a positive learning culture, coaching, counseling team members and helping them to develop.
- Relationship building with client executives.
- Ability to manage a virtual workforce across multiple time‑zones and offshore teammates.
- A bachelor’s degree and approximately 5 years of related work experience; or a master’s degree and approximately 4 years of related work experience.
- Approximately 5 years of experience in providing consulting services in the finance function focused in at least one of the following areas: finance operating model design, performance management, shared services design and implementations, outsourcing consulting.
- Preferable experience in managing large‑scale Finance Transformation and/or ERP implementations.
- Oil & Gas industry experience with robust finance operations expertise.
- Experience leading teams, managing engagement economics and business development.
- Willingness to travel to meet client obligations.
- An advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Operations or superior academic achievement in a related field.
- CPA licensure.
- Industry knowledge in hydrocarbon accounting.
- Planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting/analytics experience.
