The Associate position will organize, assist, and support the daily operational responsibilities associated with mortgage servicing transfers and ongoing management of activities related to prior mortgage servicing transfers. This role is key in supporting the Transaction Management department through reporting, documentation management, process execution, and administrative support activities that contribute to accurate, timely, and compliant servicing transfer operations.
The Associate Contract Administrator partners with Contract Administrators, Project Managers, and department leadership to support operational workflows, maintain critical reporting, manage documentation, and assist with the resolution of post-transfer matters. This position provides the opportunity to develop a strong foundation in mortgage servicing transfers and project coordination.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:- Track key milestones and deadlines associated with compliance requirements.
- Organize data associated with all phases of acquisition life cycle including reconciling data items received, outstanding, and flag potential delays or risk.
- Provide testing support to Senior Management, Analysts, and Corporate Technology related to ensure that loan data is accurately onboarded to Mid First's servicing system with no downstream impacts.
- Communicate details of upcoming servicing transfers with internal and external stakeholders including scheduling of meetings and coordination of stakeholders.
- Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships with a focus on conflict resolution, reputational harm, and regulatory impact.
- Drive continuous improvement in the acquisition process through data analysis and assistance on special projects on an ad hoc basis.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to resolve trailing matters throughout the acquisition lifecycle with key internal and external counter parties.
- One or more years of related work experience (mortgage servicing, project work, report preparation and data validation, and/or deliverable collection and tracking)
- Ability to accurately organize, index, and maintain electronic files and documentation
- Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced, goal-oriented, and deadline driven environment
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and pivot tables; proficiency in Outlook and Word
