VP of Business Services

The VP of Business Services is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading and optimizing the bank’s business services function to support growth across Egypt and the wider region. This position oversees the design and execution of business service strategies, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives, regulatory standards, and client needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing cross-functional projects, improving operational processes, and collaborating with finance, sales, and product teams to deliver efficient, client-centric solutions.

The role includes monitoring performance metrics, identifying opportunities for service innovation, and supporting strategic initiatives that enhance trade, investment, and corporate banking offerings. The VP will also mentor team members, foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and represent business services in senior leadership discussions.

• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial, operational, and market data and inform decision-making.
• Demonstrated expertise in finance, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis within banking or financial services.
• Proven strategic planning capabilities to develop, communicate, and execute long-term business services roadmaps.
• Hands-on project management experience leading cross-functional initiatives from concept to implementation.
• Solid sales and business development acumen, with the ability to align services with client needs and growth objectives.
• Experience in business services, operations, or corporate banking within an international or regional financial institution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and external partners.
• Track record of leading diverse teams, fostering inclusion, and driving performance in a remote or hybrid environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; a relevant postgraduate degree or MBA is advantageous.
• Familiarity with the MENA or African financial markets and regulatory environment is beneficial.
