Financial Accountant

LHH is partnering with an established client in the Oklahoma City area to fill a Financial Accountant position. The role focuses on analyzing financial data, monitoring interest rate and liquidity risks, assisting with financial modeling, and supporting reporting activities. This position offers the opportunity to develop expertise in financial risk management, regulatory considerations, and asset-liability strategy while working closely with senior analysts.

• Gather, organize, and analyze financial data and prepare asset and liability reports.
• Support the monitoring and assessment of interest rate, liquidity, and other financial risks.
• Assist with financial models used to forecast balance sheet performance and risk exposure.
• Maintain documentation of financial activities, assumptions, methodologies, and risk reports.
• Support the operation and maintenance of financial software and ensure data accuracy.
• Conduct research on market trends, regulatory developments, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with senior analysts and other team members to support financial management and risk-control initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; VBA knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to quickly learn new systems, tools, and financial concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
