Associate​/Senior Associate, Financial Reporting, Group Finance

Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions – whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability. We also provide capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory services. The bank is also a certified Accredited Training Organisation (ATO) for the Singapore Qualification Programme by the Singapore Accountancy Commission and an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants(ACCA) Approved Employer.

• Key responsibilities of the team include the production of relevant, timely and accurate financial information for internal and external reporting purpose; as well as the analysis of Group performance.
• Member of the team responsible for the delivery of the Group’s financial reports.
• Participate in the review of accounting treatment and financial disclosures of the Group’s product and services.
• Participate in Finance projects initiatives which involve process reviews, system enhancements and new systems implementation.
• Implement procedures and internal controls over the preparation of financial reports.
• Responsible for the monthly financial accounts closing process.
• Responsible for the preparation, review and analysis of the Group’s financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements as well as Group accounting policies.
• Responsible for the preparation of year-end statutory accounts and other financial information as required by the relevant authorities.
• Participate in Finance projects initiatives which involve process reviews, system enhancements and new systems implementation.
• Implement procedures and internal controls over the preparation of financial reports.
• Handle ad-hoc assignments when necessary.

• Degree in Accounting or a related field with 2-3 years of relevant working experience;
  Big 4 firm experience is advantageous.
• Proficient in accounting principles, including SFRS(I), with an added advantage for expertise in financial instruments.
• Strong financial reporting background. Familiarity with financial reporting process in a large financial services company would be a plus.
• Good knowledge of financial products and services.
• Keen analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and comfort dealing with high volumes of data and financial numbers.
• Strong team player with maturity and strong communication skills across all levels.
