Pharmacy Technician – GLP-1 Compounding Experience

Compensation: Starting at $22/hour (depending on experience)

Location: Oklahoma City, OK (Onsite)

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Position Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support its GLP-1 compounding operations. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented technician who thrives in a regulated pharmacy environment and takes pride in accurate, compliant compounding work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compound GLP-1 medications in compliance with USP, FDA, and state pharmacy regulations
  • Prepare, label, and package compounded medications accurately
  • Maintain sterile and non‑sterile compounding environments
  • Follow SOPs for compounding, documentation, and quality control
  • Maintain accurate batch records and compounding logs
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering and tracking supplies
  • Adhere to safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and pharmacy staff to ensure timely fulfillment
Required Qualifications
  • Active or eligible Pharmacy Technician license (state requirements apply)
  • Direct experience compounding GLP-1 medications
  • Knowledge of sterile and/or non‑sterile compounding practices
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and compliance
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced pharmacy environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior compounding pharmacy experience
  • Familiarity with USP, ISO, and/or other standards
  • Experience with quality assurance and documentation practices
