Location: 7800 NW 85th Terrace, OKC OK 73132

Shift: Full-Time, Days Monday-Friday.

Position is not remote.

Responsibilities

The OHH Financial Counselor position ensures assigned department tasks are conducted, produced, processed, and submitted accurately and timely. A liaison for the various registration departments. Requires education & training of assigned department employees. Performs all work in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Oklahoma Heart Hospital.

Qualifications

Education: High school graduate or equivalent required. Some college preferred.

Experience: Five (5) years of job related experience in Healthcare required. Knowledge of billing, collections, registration and reimbursement of Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance required. Good investigative skills and telephone techniques. Accurate and detailed oriented. Must have good oral and written communication skills. Proven organizational skills needed. Must have the ability to develop, monitor, and conduct educational programs.

Working Knowledge: Windows based operating systems preferred. Professional verbal and written communication skills. Medical terminology and medical insurance knowledge preferred.
