Financial Coordinator II; Non-Exempt

Join us at Mercy as a Financial Coordinator II (Non-Exempt) and help maintain billing compliance and efficiency.

• Coordinate with the Patient Billing Department, field staff, and business operations to assure compliance with all billing regulations.
• Process patient accounts and verify billing information.
• Monitor workflow and identify operational problems.
• Maintain databases, spreadsheets, and computer and paper files related to interfaced software packages.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience:
  
  Three years’ experience required. Knowledge of medical terminology, Homecare medical records, and patient accounting are required.
• Other Skills and Knowledge:
  Excellent computer skills in word processing and spreadsheet applications required.

• Five years’ experience in Homecare medical records and HCMS software preferred.
• Excellent communication, problem solving, customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with co-workers preferred.
