Mercy Coletta Cancer Center - Oklahoma City
Shift: Full Time (40 hours/week)
Overview
Under the direct supervision of the Mammography Supervisor and Senior Mammographer, performs professional mammography, education and other women's services provided throughout the Breast Imaging department.
Qualifications
Mammography Technologist- Education:
Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completed required clinical hours - Experience:
no experience required - Certification:
Obtained ARRT registry OR Registry eligible (Achieve registry within 6 months of eligibility); BLS within 30 days of hire - Licensure:
State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
- Education:
Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completed required clinical hours - Experience:
1+ years of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor degree program - Certification: ARRT (R)(M); BLS Basic Life Support
- Licensure:
State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice. - Current Mammography Technologists who are moving to Advanced Mammography Technologist title on the career ladder must complete all required Mammography Technologist competencies.
- Education:
Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completed required clinical hours - Experience:
1+ years of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor degree program - Certification: ARRT (R)(M) and 1 advanced registry: ARRT(BS) OR RDMS(BR); BLS Basic Life Support
- Licensure:
State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice. - Current Advanced Mammography Technologists who are moving to Senior Mammography Technologist title on the career ladder must complete all required Mammography AND Advanced Mammography Technologist competencies.
This is a career-ladder position. The level at which the successful candidate is hired will be determined based on education, certification/licensure, and relevant imaging experience.
