Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Physicist based in the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Area. The Medical Physicist will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and quality in the delivery of proton therapy treatments. This role includes conducting equipment quality assurance, developing and implementing treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Collaboration with clinicians and other healthcare professionals will be key to achieving optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications- Strong expertise in medical physics, including treatment planning and dosimetry
- Experience with quality assurance protocols and radiation safety practices
- Proficiency with proton therapy equipment and related software
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities with multidisciplinary teams
- Master's or Ph.D. in Medical Physics or a related field
- Certification by the American Board of Radiology (A ) or equivalent
- Prior experience in proton therapy is highly desirable but not mandatory
