- Shift: Nights
- Schedule: Friday / Saturday / Sunday – 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Hours: 36 hours/week (12-hour shifts)
- On Call: 1x per month
The CT Technologist I is an entry-level imaging professional responsible for providing high-quality CT imaging services to adult and/or pediatric patients under general supervision. This role supports diagnostic accuracy by safely operating CT equipment, preparing patients, and ensuring proper documentation and image transfer in accordance with departmental protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for CT procedures and correlate clinical history with physician orders
- Perform CT imaging using appropriate positioning, protocols, and radiation safety standards
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary care team
- Operate CT and radiologic equipment according to scope of practice guidelines
- Conduct post-procedure reviews to ensure studies meet quality and accreditation standards
- Transfer images and data to PACS and complete technical documentation
- Perform operator-level quality control, cleaning, and equipment maintenance
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Participate in continuing education and competency development
- Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited cardiovascular program
OR
Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program - ARRT (CT) eligible – CT certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire
- BLS (AHA) – Required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform in high-acuity environments
- Associate’s degree or higher
- Prior CT or radiologic imaging experience
