Concessions Manager Description This  position oversees all Concessions events and the Scissortail Market at the Oklahoma City Convention Center. Under the direction of the Food and Beverage Director, the Concessions Manager will stay in tune with current culinary trends, demonstrating innovation and a genuine passion for creative, high-quality food.

Responsibilities
* Hire and train all Food & Beverage servers, cashiers, and bartenders.
* Plan, assign, and direct work for employees and non-profit groups.
* Supervise concessions employees, non-profit workers, bartenders, and beer-tenders during events.
* Ensure all concessions, bars and Scissortail market are properly stocked and staffed for each event.
* Maintain labor costs and meet budgetary goals.
* Attend internal event planning and coordination meetings to stay informed about upcoming events, operational needs, and client expectations.
* Relay real-time updates, changes, and critical information from meetings to all relevant departments to ensure alignment and preparedness.
* Serve as a communication bridge between the Food & Beverage team and other operational units to support smooth event execution.
* Collaborate with department leads to adjust staffing, inventory, and service plans based on updated event requirements.
* Ensure all concession-related changes are implemented promptly and accurately to maintain high service standards.

Qualifications
* Requires at least 2 years of management experience in a concession facility servicing concessions for large events.
* Must be 21 years of age
* Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
