STATUS: Non‑Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY:

Greeting and receiving customers with the highest quality customer service. Responsibilities include parking guest cars, assisting with luggage and belongings, and providing transportation in the Company vehicle. After parking the vehicle, the valet attendant will run back to their station and be prepared to assist the next patron.

• There are two different Valet Station locations, and our Valet associates may be scheduled at either location.
• Direct traffic of vehicles at hotel or restaurant entrance. Secure taxis/transportation for guests/visitors.
• Assist guests with luggage.
• Parks guest vehicles and secures vehicle. Safely and securely park the customer car and provide the fastest possible return time.
• Record the guest’s information on the valet ticket and the location/parking spot the car was parked. Use the correct color of ticket (white for hotel, green for restaurant, and blue for event) and properly advise the guest of any associated charge.
• Return rental vehicles for guests.
• Complete errands/deliveries for guests.
• Answer questions about the hotel or restaurant and surrounding areas.
• Transport guests to various areas in the Company vehicle within a 5‑mile radius of the hotel.
• Provide gracious and professional service in an efficient manner. Perform all job duties toward the goal of maximizing guest service.
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner with the awareness that all actions and communications are within guest view.
• Maintain a professional appearance and uniform standards.
• Respond graciously to guest service issues and report the situation to management.
• Remember that safety is always first. Run fast but drive slowly.
• Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the manager. Furthermore, tasks and responsibilities may be added or revised based on the volume of business and the need for the work to be completed at the present time.

• Maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (MVR).
• Drive stick‑shift transmission. Drive all types of vehicles.
• Thorough knowledge of local areas and roads.
• 3 years’ experience driving vehicles.
• Strong understanding of the English language.
• Communicate effectively with others both verbally and in writing.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.

• Exert physical effort in lifting/transporting at least 50 pounds.
• Push/pull carts and other equipment up to 250 pounds.
• Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas.
• Stand and maintain well‑paced mobility for up to 4 hours.
• Run up to 500 yards, 50+ times a day or more.
• Enter and exit customers' vehicles 50+ times daily.
• Work outside in all types of weather. Shifts will not be cancelled due to inclement weather and all associates will be required to attend their scheduled shifts.

• Previous valet, and/or customer service experience preferred.

• Must have a clean driving record and have reached the nineteenth (19th) birthday.
• Have no more than one moving violation over a 2-year period.
