Location

605‑room convention‑center hotel in downtown Oklahoma City. Our luxury property is located next to the Paycom Center, the Oklahoma Convention Center, and across the street from the 70‑acre Scissortail Park.

The hotel features an all‑day dining outlet (Seltzer’s Modern Diner), an entertainment sports bar (OKC Tap House), a specialty restaurant (Bob’s Steak & Chop House), a coffee shop (Park Grounds), and a retail outlet (Rare Bird Gift Shop). Guests can also enjoy Mokara Spa, a fitness center, and a rooftop pool and bar (Cat Bird Seat), complete with a fire pit, outdoor lawn, and cabanas.

The property offers 76,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including a 20,000‑square‑foot ballroom, an additional 10,000‑square‑foot ballroom, and a 4,200‑square‑foot outdoor pre‑function space overlooking the park.

Job Description

First‑time opportunity to be a pivotal part of Omni’s convention‑collection hotel. The Omni Oklahoma City Hotel, with 605 guest rooms and suites, showcases views of Scissortail Park and the downtown skyline. We seek an energetic Housekeeping Houseperson PM to join our opening team. The successful candidate will maintain assigned public space and guest room floors, support Guest Room Attendants, and uphold Omni standards while exceeding guest expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Retrieve soiled linen and garbage from Guest Rooms and Guest Room Attendant carts and/or storage closets to dispose of via linen chute or dumpsters.
  • Maintain hallways, reporting maintenance issues and special cleaning assignments (e.g., carpet cleaning or repainting).
  • Deliver guest amenities or special requests to guest rooms (e.g., rollaway beds, baby cribs, refrigerators, toothbrushes/toothpaste).
  • Complete daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly projects as assigned by Housekeeping Managers/Supervisors.
  • Clean stairwells, elevators, and hallways free from debris and room‑service trays.
  • Maintain housekeeping supply storeroom by organizing new supplies upon delivery and restocking floors.
Qualifications
  • Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
  • Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
  • Prior hotel housekeeping experience preferred or other relevant environmental services experience.
  • Flexible schedule including ability to work weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to stand or walk for an extended period or entire shift; frequent bending, reaching overhead, squatting.
  • Lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 30 lbs without assistance and a minimum of 100 lbs with assistance; push/pull objects weighing up to 75 lbs without assistance.
  • Must live within 50 miles of the hotel.
