- Supporting the Valet Manager and Director of Operations with the daily execution of the valet operation.
- Providing direction, support, and coaching to Valet Curators throughout each shift.
- Ensuring the valet lane is organized and operating efficiently, with vehicles pulled to the front promptly.
- Maintaining proper rotation among Curators who are parking and retrieving vehicles.
- Reviewing the Flash Valet system to ensure Curators are signed in and vehicles are accurately marked as parked and pulled.
- Completing daily key and garage audits to ensure keys are properly managed and vehicles are parked and ticketed correctly.
- Issuing key tags to new apartment residents and maintaining organized key-handling procedures.
- Ensuring guest vehicles are handled, parked, and retrieved with the utmost care.
- Checking that valet tools, equipment, technology, luggage tags, valet tags, and other supplies are clean, secure, charged, and ready for each shift.
- Reviewing radio logs and ensuring radios are properly signed in and out and accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming front drive by picking up trash, restocking water, and keeping the valet stand orderly.
- Communicating operational concerns, maintenance needs, safety issues, or supply shortages to leadership.
- Responding to guest questions and concerns promptly, professionally, and with genuine care.
- Supporting the team during busy periods and stepping in wherever needed to keep the operation moving.
- Helping create a positive team environment through clear communication, coaching, and leading by example.
- You understand that valet is often the first and last impression a guest has of the property.
- You have previous valet or professional parking experience and understand the importance of safe and efficient vehicle handling.
- You are approachable and comfortable providing direction and coaching to fellow Curators.
- You can remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented when handling guest concerns or operational challenges.
- You are highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities during a busy shift.
- You communicate clearly and professionally with guests, Curators, managers, and other departments.
- You take initiative and actively look for ways to improve the valet operation.
- You encourage teamwork, open communication, and a positive work environment.
- You demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and understand the importance of timely vehicle retrieval and guest service.
- You are dependable and willing to work independently while supporting the larger Valet team.
- You take pride in creating a welcoming, professional, and seamless arrival experience for every guest.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous valet or professional parking experience required.
- Two or more years of experience in a valet and/or professional parking role preferred.
- Previous lead, captain, supervisory, or leadership experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Clean driving record required.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coach, motivate, and support team members.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with guests, employees, managers, and other departments.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to interpret and follow company policies, procedures, and standard business practices.
- Ability to identify challenges, develop solutions, and help lead the team through operational changes.
- Demonstrated sense of urgency, reliability, and timeliness.
- Must meet company driving requirements and successfully complete required MVR screening.
