Position: People Business Partner

Enhance Digi's employee experience and organizational effectiveness at the Oklahoma City branch by partnering with People Operations. Support workforce readiness, cultural continuity, compliance, and performance enablement while acting as a connector between local teams and company-wide people initiatives. Serve as a trusted partner to field leaders, managers, and the People team to drive employee engagement, development, and retention.

Key Responsibilities Lead OKC New Hire Experience and Talent Onboarding
  • Ensure 100% of OKC new hires complete a positive and proactive onboarding experience (onboarding presentation, meet-your-manager session, HR documentation, gear setup, and training) within 3 business days of hire.
  • Partner with hiring managers to align early coaching and development plans, continuously improving onboarding processes.
  • Create a welcoming and supportive experience for new hires, refining processes to enhance their integration.
Strengthen Employee Engagement and Branch Culture
  • Drive consistent communication and recognition to foster a strong branch culture.
  • Actively participate in, facilitate, and lead by example during cultural engagement events to promote team cohesion and alignment with company values.
Improve Compliance, Readiness, and Team Operations
  • Maintain organized systems to ensure compliance and operational efficiency in People Operations, benefits administration, and cultural initiatives.
  • Execute branch-level People Operations tasks with precision and maintain accurate records.
Act as a Strategic Partner
  • Provide local HR support for coaching, performance plans, and employee relations matters in collaboration with the Director of People Operations.
  • Conduct employee check-ins to identify trends and risks, recommending strategic interventions to address them.
  • Flexibly support other locations or People Operations priorities as needed.
Strategic Onboarding & Talent Support
  • Delivers a seamless, high-impact onboarding experience in OKC.
  • Aligns early talent development with business needs and partners with managers to coach new hires effectively.
Culture & Communication Champion
  • Leads local cultural engagement events and ensures inclusive, timely communication aligned with company values.
  • Oversees branch recognition programs and ensures strong representation of the OKC team.
Compliance & Operational Execution
  • Maintains clean records, fulfills requests promptly, and executes People Operations tasks with excellence.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of benefits administration basics.
Employee Relations & Coaching Support
  • Supports disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and sensitive employee relations matters with professionalism.
  • Tracks employee sentiment, escalates risks, and maintains trust in all interactions.
Project Ownership & Task Management
  • Creates and maintains  boards for task visibility and follows up on overdue items.
  • Leads or assists in special projects and launches with a focus on execution and accountability.
  • Works effectively across the People Operations team and with branch leaders.
  • Adapt to changing priorities, seeks feedback, and drives continuous improvement.

Qualifications
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, or a related role, with a focus on employee engagement, continuously improving practices, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Understanding of HR processes, compliance, and benefits administration.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with HR tools and systems (e.g., , ADP, or similar platforms) for task management and reporting.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
