- Compliance with statutory requirements and all Illinois state laws.
- Budgeting and coordination of related activities to support departmental objectives.
- Implementation, administration, and monitoring of all training programs.
- Compliance with all state and federal laws, regulations, and court rulings pertaining to Human Resources.
- Maintaining all hotel personnel records and human resource files, ensuring confidentiality. Qualifications
- Proven track record as a successful people operations leader as a hotel or resort Human Resources Director.
- 10 years of progressive Human Resources Director or above experience required.
- College degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Hospitality, or Travel & Tourism Management.
- Resort, hotel or hospitality experience required.
- Thorough knowledge of Federal & State laws pertaining to HR.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, & organization skills.
- Ability to multitask in a demanding environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a positive and organized work environment.
