Network Architect

We are in a critical phase of expanding our corporate network infrastructure. In this role you will design, implement, and maintain network solutions that meet the business needs of Express Employment International. Your expertise in network design, Cisco equipment, Meraki equipment, and industry experience will ensure the success of our projects.

Location:

Oklahoma City, OK. This position is based in the corporate office with an expectation to be onsite 80% of the time.

• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to gather network requirements and assess existing infrastructures.
• Design and architect scalable and secure network solutions tailored to meet business needs.
• Develop comprehensive network diagrams, documentation, and implementation plans.
• Configure and optimize Cisco, Meraki, F5, Palo Alto, and other network equipment, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior network engineers and technicians.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues in a timely manner.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to recommend improvements and enhancements to existing network architectures.
• Perform network capacity planning and recommend hardware and software upgrades as necessary.
• Collaborate with vendors and partners to evaluate and recommend network solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Graduate degree preferred.
• 10–15 years of hands‑on experience in network design, implementation, and maintenance.

• Strong expertise in Cisco, F5, Meraki, Palo Alto, DNS/IPAM, CheckPoint, Cradlepoint, Mitel, and VOIP solutions.
• Preferably holds a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification.
• In‑depth knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, DNS, and other network technologies.
• Proficiency in network scripting, automation, monitoring, and management tools.
• Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.
