The RoleWe are seeking a proactive and personable Deskside Support Technician to join our client’s onsite IT support team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in face‑to‑face environments and enjoys solving technical issues directly with end users. A candidate must reside within 30–50 miles of one of the client’s designated cities (see Important Notes below).
Key Responsibilities- Provide Level 2 (L2) deskside support for laptops, desktops, and peripheral devices.
- Deliver hand‑on, deskside support by sitting with employees to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Assist with device setup, configuration, and maintenance.
- Escalate complex issues to higher‑level support teams as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
- Ensure excellent customer service and user satisfaction in all interactions.

Required Skills and Experience- 5 years of experience in a large Enterprise environment that includes Windows 11 support.
- Microsoft 365 support experience.
- End‑user network connectivity troubleshooting.
- Experience with Service Now.
- Solid soft skills – experience working with customers face to face.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is not required but preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Successful candidates must pass a pre‑employment drug test prior to starting.
- Candidates must be U.S. citizens and reside within the United States.
- This position is fully onsite and will be based at one of the following client locations, determined by the selected candidate’s proximity:
Client Locations: Wichita Falls, TX;
Middletown, NY;
Middletown, CT;
Oklahoma City, OK;
Farmington, CT;
West Palm, FL;
East Hartford, CT;
Charlottesville, VA.
The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $38,400 to $65,040 based on a full‑time schedule. Salary may vary depending on geography, job‑related skills, and experience. For part‑time roles, compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.
It will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. (If this role qualifies for a sales commission plan, that may replace the annual discretionary bonus program.)
