This is an exciting time to join the corporate office of Express Employment International. In this role you will play a critical role in shaping and optimizing our network environment. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network solutions that meet our specific business requirements. Your expertise in network design, Cisco equipment, Meraki equipment, and extensive industry experience will be invaluable in ensuring the success of our projects.

This position sits within our Oklahoma City, based corporate office, with an expectation to be onsite 80% of the time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to gather network requirements and assess existing infrastructures.
• Design and architect scalable and secure network solutions tailored to meet our business needs.
• Develop comprehensive network diagrams, documentation, and implementation plans.
• Configure and optimize Cisco, Meraki, F5, Palo Alto and other network equipment, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior network engineers and technicians.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues in a timely manner.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to recommend improvements and enhancements to existing network architectures.
• Perform network capacity planning and recommend hardware and software upgrades as necessary.
• Collaborate with vendors and partners to evaluate and recommend network solutions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Graduate degree preferred
• 10 - 15 years of hands-on experience in network design, implementation, and maintenance

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, OR ABILITIES

• Strong expertise in Cisco, F5, Meraki, Palo Alto, DNS/IPAM CheckPoint, Cradlepoint and Mitel Equipment or other VOIP solutions.
• Preferably holds a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification.
• In-depth knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, DNS, and other network technologies.
• Proficiency in network scripting, automation, monitoring and management tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.
