Director of Technology

Basilio Inc is building the leadership bench that runs the company day to day so the founders can move to the back seat and guide from there. These are the seats that own strategy, delivery, and results across the whole business.

As a Director of Technology at Basilio Inc, you own the technology, automation, and AI stack the company runs on. You sit inside the Executive & Leadership team, own your results, and are measured on what you move, not hours logged.

Basilio Inc is a growth and marketing company that builds and runs brands across Amazon, Walmart, Tik Tok Shop, and the open web. We hire operators, train them on proven systems, and give them real accounts to run. This is a remote-first, outcome-owned role for someone who wants to do the best work of their career on brands that are actually scaling.

• Own the tech, data, automation, and AI systems across the group
• Set the AI and tooling standard every team builds on
• Build automations and integrations that make delivery scale
• Protect security, reliability, and data across the stack
• Report the technology roadmap and its impact to leadership
• Build and develop the leaders and teams under you
• Set the standard and hold the whole function to it
• Report results and risk to ownership with no spin

• Move your core metrics: automation and efficiency gains and system reliability and security
• Hands-on execution in automation and integration platforms, APIs and scripting, AI and agent frameworks
• Sync with the founders, the other directors, and every team lead and report progress

• First 30 to 60 days: you are fully ramped on your accounts and tools and already moving automation and efficiency gains
• Ongoing: you consistently hit target on automation and efficiency gains and system reliability and security
• You leave every account, campaign, or project measurably better than you found it

• Technology and AI leadership
• Bias for building systems that scale the business
• AI fluency: strong prompting and sound judgment on when to trust or override a model (required)
• Ownership: you run your lane end to end and are measured on the outcome
• Clear, direct written and verbal communication
• Comfort working in a fast, data-driven, remote-first team
• Discipline with process, deadlines, and documentation
• Coachability: you take feedback and turn it into better work fast

Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience; advanced degree a plus.

8 or more years in technology, automation, or engineering leadership.

You work alongside the founders, the other directors, and every team lead across the group. You report to your division director and partner directly with account teams and, where the role calls for it, clients.

AI experience is required for this role. You are fluent with ChatGPT (OpenAI) and Claude (Anthropic), comfortable running models through Open Router and open models such as Qwen, and you write clear, effective prompts. Most of the work at Basilio…
