Job Description
We are seeking an experienced LIMS Administrator to manage, maintain, and enhance Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of laboratory workflows, database management, system integrations, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Administer, maintain, and optimize LIMS applications.
- Support LIMS installations, upgrades, testing, and validation.
- Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with vendors for technical resolutions.
- Develop SQL queries, Crystal Reports, and system documentation.
- Implement and maintain HL7 messaging and laboratory system integrations.
- Maintain laboratory equipment connectivity and network configurations.
- Support system backups, performance monitoring, and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CAP, and CLIA standards.
- Collaborate with IT teams, laboratory personnel, and external vendors.
- Provide technical training and support to laboratory staff.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience.
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a scientific field.
- Experience with Lab Ware, Rees, Neometrix, or similar LIMS platforms.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Visual Basic, and .
- Experience with HL7, XML, ASTM E1381, and ASTM E1394.
- Knowledge of HTML, , and LIMS Basic
. - Familiarity with Tomcat, Fire Daemon, ZPL, PCL, and script parsers
. - Experience with laboratory system integrations and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of laboratory workflows and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, CAP, and CLIA compliance.
- Experience in public health or clinical laboratory environments.
- Experience with LIMS implementation, upgrades, and validation.
- Knowledge of laboratory data exchange and HL7 messaging.
- Experience with Crystal Reports and SQL-based reporting.
