Insurance Defense Attorney

Overview

This is a full-time on-site role for an Insurance Defense Attorney at Goolsby, Proctor, Nelson & Lee, located in Oklahoma City, OK. The Insurance Defense Attorney will manage a caseload related to insurance defense matters, conduct legal research, provide legal advice, and negotiate settlement agreements. Daily tasks include drafting legal documents, representing clients in court, and working closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

The role requires a proactive approach to case management and the ability to work effectively within a team.

• Manage a caseload related to insurance defense matters

• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Strong legal advice and negotiation skills
• Ability to conduct thorough research
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Oklahoma
• Experience with insurance defense is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
