Overview
Join a dynamic trial-focused law firm as a Mid-Level Associate Attorney with 38 years of civil defense litigation experience, ideally with background in insurance defense.
Responsibilities- Handle diverse caseload of defense matters (personal injury, premises liability, general liability).
- Manage all litigation phases: discovery, motion practice, depositions, court appearances, pre‑trial prep.
- Work with senior attorneys on trial strategy; assist at trial as second chair; opportunities to grow to first‑chair.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, adjusters, in‑house counsel.
- Provide support and mentorship to junior team members and staff.
- 2–8 years of civil litigation experience, with focus on insurance defense strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to independently manage caseload and meet deadlines in fast‑paced litigation environment.
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- JD with active and good standing TX Bar.
