Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Director of Field Service – Supplier Quality Support (SQS) role in Oklahoma City, OK. Key Responsibilities:Lead, coach, and develop Field Service – SQS Managers to ensure consistent execution of supplier quality standards.
Plan, assign, and direct work while ensuring alignment with organizational policies and applicable regulations.
Evaluate performance, provide feedback, reward achievements, and address performance or conduct issues as needed.
Serve as a strategic leader while remaining capable of tactical execution during critical or high‑priority situations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.
Present information effectively in formal presentation settings to leadership and cross‑functional teams.
Lead problem‑solving initiatives and drive corrective actions to resolution.
Support supplier quality activities in restaurants, distribution centers, and manufacturing environments.
Travel extensively to support field operations, including overnight travel and weekend work when critical situations arise.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and walk primarily on level surfaces throughout the day.
Reach above shoulder height, below the waist, and lift up to 40 pounds when handling cases of food products.
Work in environments with extreme temperatures ranging from below 0°F (freezers) to approximately 110°F (kitchens).
Exposure to manufacturing areas requiring personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and hearing protection.
Primary work environment includes ambient office conditions with standard office equipment.
Extensive overnight travel required (approximately 55–60%), utilizing company vehicles and commercial transportation (air, rail, or bus).
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Field Service/SQS Manager or in a related role.
McDonald’s system and/or McDonald’s restaurant experience strongly preferred.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet‑based tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Professional appearance and telephone demeanor.
Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
Customer‑focused mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
Ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver results.
Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically when necessary.
Directly supervises Field Service – SQS Managers.
Responsible for training, development, performance management, and employee relations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
