- Developing and maintaining process PFMEA(s) for discipline.
- Supporting new site activations for discipline.
- Developing secondary proficiencies in other processes/disciplines.
- Partnering with OpX Site Leads and depot sites to mature discipline across network.
- Executing projects within SME discipline
- B.S. in Engineering, Operations, Program Management, or related function with 8+ years of experience with one or more processes used in F135 engine assembly and/or test in a production or overhaul environment (e.g., assembly, balance, borescope, test).
- Advanced degree with 5+ years of experience with one or more processes used in F135 engine assembly and/or test in a production or overhaul environment (e.g., assembly, balance, borescope, test).
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Familiarity with engine overhaul (military or commercial).
- Familiarity with maturing manufacturing readiness through Manufacturing Readiness Levels (MRL).
- Experience creating and using PFMEAs in production environment.
- Self-motivated, team player with good communication skills. Ability to focus on results and successfully manage multiple tasks/projects.
- Proven success working in a matrixed organization and/or with a third-party services provider.
- Experience engaging with shop floor operations (e.g., supervisors, mechanics)
- Experience working with global sites.
- Certified as CORE Apprentice.

Onsite:
Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.
The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
