Overview

Test Equipment Technician II (MMAC-):

Bowhead seeks to network with a Test Equipment Technician II for an upcoming proposal effort in Oklahoma City, OK. If awarded the contract, the provider is to supply test equipment maintenance and calibration support for the National Airspace System (NAS) and to other government agencies in accordance with terms outlined in interagency agreements and service orders.

Responsibilities

Job Duties to include but not limited to:

  • Repair, maintain, and calibrate a variety of test equipment, including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, logic analyzers, radar test sets, communication and ILS test sets, multimeters, power meters, power sensors, phase meters, signal and function generators, frequency counters, and LCR analyzers.
  • Perform complex testing, troubleshooting, repair, overhaul, modification, installation, and calibration of test equipment with minimal guidance.
  • Conduct repairs involving critical tolerances and accuracy specifications.
  • Maintain calibration records and ensure compliance with FAA and national metrology standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Precision Measurement Equipment (PME) certification from a Military Technical School, OR Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Electronics, OR Certified PME training record.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in calibration, repair, and maintenance of electronic test equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and repairing a variety of test equipment.
  • In-depth knowledge of metrology laboratory procedures.
  • Experience working with FAA, ISO-9001/IEC 17025, and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1 standards.
  • Ability to work independently on complex repairs and calibration tasks.
  • Proficiency in using calibration management software and maintaining documentation.
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
Physical Demands
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time.
  • Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically.
Security Clearance Requirements

Must currently hold a security clearance at the Public Trust level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Public Trust clearance at this location.
