Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Inspect and qualify engine parts using various measuring and test equipment.
- Disassemble, clean, and reassemble engines using tools, hand tools, semi-automated, and fully-automated equipment.
- Record data manually and electronically during processes.
- Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
- Maintain an orderly work area.
- Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and instructions of the TS 16949 and ISO 14001 systems.
Regularly stand for hours, use hands for handling objects and tools, reach with arms, perform repetitive grasping, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and lift/move up to 30 pounds. Must have close vision and be able to read and understand English.
Work EnvironmentOccasionally work near moving mechanical parts, exposed to fumes or airborne particles; moderate noise level.
MaterialsTransmission parts, transmission fluid, assembly lubes, sealing/locking compounds, solvents, and cleaning/paint products.
Working ProcedureFollow detailed Job Instruction Sheet at workstation.
