Job Summary

Coordinates incoming and outgoing movement and storage of raw materials, finished products, and parts, including warehousing, shop, and delivery services to ensure material availability and timely delivery to meet production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure Environmental, Health and Safety rules/regulations are adhered to during the shift.
  • Execute established material handling processes to ensure materials are received and located properly and promptly.
  • Handle transportation with attention to contracts and transportation requirements, such as pricing discounts or fees.
  • Verify the quality of received products within the shift, operating within the company’s quality systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Monitor, measure, and report on receiving process performance and issues.
  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with leadership.
  • Work with Supervisors and Production Schedulers to ensure effective shipping methods and timely communication.
  • Participate in the company’s continuous improvement plan for growth.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards for a clean and safe workplace.
  • Represent the organizational culture, including mission, vision, and core attributes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
  • Support “Lean Business Enterprise” initiatives for process improvement and waste elimination.

Skills and Abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently or in a team.
  • Deadline-oriented, with good planning and organizational skills.
  • Problem assessment and solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Willingness to work overtime and outdoors when necessary.

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a safety-sensitive industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with shop drawings and unit assembly.
  • Experience with Action Tracker or similar programs is preferred.
