MACHINIST essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Takes responsibility for quality of work by performing all duties thoroughly and effectively with conformance to standards, quality systems, and established processes.
Produces production parts utilizing various manual lathes, CNC and Mills machining equipment.
Set up and calibrate accessories and equipment for drilling, milling and grinding.
Maintains specifications by observing machine processes; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting and replacing worn tools.
Performs basic tool offsets, work offsets, and process troubleshooting.
Maintains machines, equipment, and performs preventative maintenance activities as directed.
