Packaging Clerk

Job Summary:

The Packaging Clerk is responsible for accurately and efficiently labeling, packing, and palletizing items from the assembly area.

• Packages and loads production items on shipping pallets
• Performs quality checks throughout the packing process
• Creates standard and custom crating
• Orders and restocks boxes
• Performs other 5S duties
• Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or a Health and Environmental Safety team member
• Participates in proactive teams to achieve departmental and company goals
• Performs other duties as assigned

• 1-3 months' experience in related field preferred
• Ability to operate Scales, Tiger Saw, Computers, Hoists, Printers, Scissor lifts, Hand trucks, Wrap Machines, Forklift, Standing Lift, WAV (work assistance vehicle) and Pallet Jack
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral or diagram form
• Must have basic, mathematical, computer and technological skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must pass background check and drug screen
