Job Title: IWMS/CADD Specialist

Reports Directly To: Director, Facility Development

Job Group: W, Exempt

Salary Range: *$60,230-**$73,782

Position Closing Date: Open Until Filled

Primary Function Of Position

Oversee and maintain the District’s Web Central Computer-Aided Facility Management and Integrated Workplace Management System to include ARCHIBUS, Autodesk AutoCAD, and Autodesk Revit.

Essential Job Functions

  • Oversee and manage the Facilities and Space Planning database.
    • Develops and maintain space management plans and data.
    • Assists with developing and maintaining preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
    • Maintains facility equipment drawings and data.
    • Provides training on the use of the software.
  • Oversee and manage the as-built files and master floor plans.
    • Room Number Plans.
    • Architectural, Furniture, Program Equipment, & M-E-P Plans.
    • Site Utility & Easement Plans.
    • Emergency Management & Safety Plans.
  • Assists with providing information on the planning, research, and implementation of projects.
  • Develops and enforces CADD standards for construction and remodel projects.
  • Develops and maintains exterior and underground utility plans for future project planning.
  • Ability to be present on the job as described under working conditions and contract details.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., facility design, construction) or combination of education and experience may be accepted.
  • Must have a minimum of five years of experience with CADD; also, must have two years of Revit experience;
    Archibus experience highly preferred.
  • Competent in the use of office productivity systems and databases.
  • Exceptional and effective verbal/written communication, mediation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate commitment to effective team building and development of personnel.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and direction.
  • Ability and desire to maintain/manage an efficient, well organized work area.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment by prioritizing tasks and projects.
  • Ability to understand and meet critical deadlines.
  • Strong flexibility, time management, and organizational skills are a must.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks or projects with a sense of urgency.
  • Anticipate needs, be resourceful and have ability to build strong employee partnerships within the organization.
  • Able to manage heavy workload and work outside of regular work schedule in order to accommodate special projects and departmental deadlines.
  • Ability to consistently deliver superior customer service and work quality to internal and external customers.
Working Conditions

Position requires prolonged sitting, standing, and walking; concentrated visual effort is required; extensive communication with internal and external customers. Reliable, dependable, and punctual attendance. This is not an exhaustive list and reasonable accommodations will be made as needed.

Organizational Relationship

Full-time, exempt personnel position reports directly to the Director of Facility Development. Evaluated annually in accordance with the provisions of the Board’s policy.

Contract Details: Twelve-month contract, subject to annual renewal. Working days and hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
