American Staff Corp is hiring a Brazer's Assistant for an immediate opening in a manufacturing facility located on Britton Road in Oklahoma City. No previous brazing experience is required! We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual who can accurately read a tape measure and is interested in learning new manufacturing skills. This position involves assisting with the preparation, assembly, and initial testing of copper piping systems used in medical equipment for hospitals.

Training will be provided on the equipment, processes, and job responsibilities. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, is comfortable using tools, and wants to develop skills in a specialized manufacturing environment.

• Measure and cut copper tubing to required specifications.
• Assist with preparing copper pipes and fittings for assembly.
• Remove rough edges and clean materials before assembly.
• Organize and prepare parts and materials for the brazing department.
• Assist with basic inspections and pressure testing of completed assemblies.
• Label and prepare completed products according to instructions.
• Follow work orders, drawings, and instructions from the department lead.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow company safety and quality procedures.
• Assist with additional production tasks as needed.

• Must be able to accurately read a tape measure.
• Strong attention to detail is required.
• No previous brazing experience necessary – training provided.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable working with tools and performing hands-on manufacturing tasks.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus, but not required.

• Ability to stand for most of the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Comfortable bending, twisting, reaching, and performing repetitive tasks.
• Ability to work in a warm or hot, non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment and tools.

• $17.00 per hour
• 1st Shift – Monday through Friday
