OverviewCritical Care Registered Nurses are accountable for the provision of nursing care of assigned patients in all phases of care in the ICU. Using theoretical concepts as a basis for decisions in practice, nurses assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice for adult/geriatric patients.
Position DetailsNights, Full Time, 36 hours per week, Mercy Hospital - W Memorial Rd, ICU.
Qualifications- Education:
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. - Licensure:
Current Oklahoma RN License. - Certifications:
BLS & ACLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently. NIHSS; if new to the unit nurse will obtain within the first three months of employment in Critical Care. - Other:
Completes Hospital and Unit Specific nursing competency within 3 months of employment and annually, submits to Nurse Manager/ Education Coordinator.
